the flaps are bulky and look rediculous through your garment.Tried these without the gel insert;bulk was less but defeated the purpose.I tried using just the gel insert alone.This worked the best:it helped with the strap and there was less bulk.With this approach there is nothing to hold the gel insert in place except the weight of the strap which changes if you do something like bend over ,so the gel pack would work it''s way out.I would just stop and reposition them...until I lost one.

I love these bra strap cushions! The closer does lay flat if you just work with it a little bit. In some clothes, the cushion did seem a bit bulky so I simply removed the gel insert. It easily slides in and out and the cushion works well either way. I have Fibromyalgia and normally, bra straps are extremly painful. These cushions definitely take the pressure off and let me wear bra's I haven't worn in a long time. Thank you, Rhonda!!! Your things are simply awesome!

I bought these strap cushions hoping this would be the answer to the bra straps digging into my shoulders, well I guess it pretty much helps that problem, but the pads are bulky and the closures are even worse...the closures don't lay smooth and makes your shoulders look really lumpy. I kept these because it cost too much to ship back, but would not purchase again.
